    P.O.W.! Challenge 16--A Walk in the Park--REVISED

Final Poll: P.O.W.! 16: A Walk in the Park

NOTICE: This Poll has been restarted because I left out one of the entries due to extreme stupidity on my part. All the votes from the first poll have been eliminated and we're re-starting from scratch. --Alj

Extremely sorry for the late poll post. We do have five entries finished enough to post. Congratulations to everybody who fought their way through to the end. The voting will be open for roughly two weeks. Vote for one artist, and just to remind you--the theme is "A Walk in the Park," with any interpretation you felt appropriate to your story. The art could have been either black and white or color, so don't let that sway your vote.

Artists are posted in alphabetical order...

Arttorney I did not understand what you where trying to say.

Ilaekae My second favorite, it made me smile.

Kmadden2004 Voted for this one, it got good drawing, good narrative and used very well the title of the challenge.

llothcat I had to think a lot to know what was going on, you missed some sound effects in page 2, I didn't understand that page until I saw number 3.

Redfrog The art is kickass, but the story doesn't tell me anything, and in comics history is what make geeks come back for more.

a large purple serpent in a field of balls...
    "gets annoyed when wet"
    a pink box...

the symbolism and suggestive nature of your comic ilaekae makes me wonder if i'm just horny and reading into it too much or if youre an ether soaked rag ahead of me.

...at my age, I'd guess the ether-soaked rag...

I'm still working on this and it's getting even stranger...

I have a naked airport on page 5...

Ilaekae, that's particularly impressive - your graphic design chops blow my mind.

Arttorney got my vote after I waffled for the entire time this poll was up. I really like how he handled the story line and it's implications...

Very nice work overall, people. I was particularly pleased with ALL the interpretations AND the level of art on this one.

The second chance to vote made no difference to my choice. Ilaekae got it again. Great stuff all round folks.
