Nice, just wish the images were a little larger so we could appreciate them a little more. They all have some really nice textures to them. A very cool style.

John Harris... That's what the second one resembles with the large geometric shapes and small human figures in the foreground. But it needs more antigravity.

bad_weather - I love your work! I just went through your blog and website and I have to say, your work is some of the most inspiring I've ever had the pleasure to look at. The subtle use of image overlays, the brushwork, the colors... so much to get lost in. I aspire to have such a beautiful style as yours in my own work.

You get your own folder in my favorites gallery.

my wife Holli had taken your FXPHD course, and I was quite blown away with your work. Not to mention all the help I got from your ImagineFX article you did. So thank you for it all!

    Thanks again...
The first image and the image of the fort where done, as Corspufo stated, for Fxphd.
    http://www.fxphd.com/
It was an online teaching course i did for previs for mattepainting.
It was a pretty intense process, i had to record myself paint, the do a commentary on the work. But it was great fun, once I got ito the flow of things

For those that want to improve there work, I would recommend recording yourself then watching yourself paint. You get a really intimate look at your process...
The Blade pic was done for Imagine FX a while back, it was to be bladerunner inspired, hence the look. It was accompanied by a making of....

Thanks all for taking the time to look at the work

    Cheers
    G
