i love that digital paint sketch.. very foster-esque.. i also like that blue oil pastel drawing, and that one on the pink tone in muted green, looks like gouache, but i cant tell.. did you hatch out all the underdrawing lines?

Too fuckin' cool. Those Thunder Dome studies win! Liono really looks like a concerned leader type that has alot of stress/responsibility on his shoulders.

    I'm a fan.

steak-tron: Thanks man. Lion-o's is a teenager in terms of years right? So the leadership is taking a toll on him.

jetpack42: Unfortunately it's not loose on purpose... I wish my lines were more confident! I never seem to know what the hell I am drawing... its usually an accident.

    Crunch: Thank you Crunch.

bwkeough: I wasn't sure what to do with him... making him more lion-man like is cheesy looking in my opinion so I made the portrait more human. I was playing around with the rake brush feature with the zoo loo one. I saw the head in a photograph somewhere and I wanted to come up with the rest of him.

xia: Thanks Xia. Felt like creating an alien pet.

Muttonhead: Whatttttt evvvvaaaa. Yeah, I backed out of tdome like a little bitch. I did 90% of this stuff a week after tdome. Nothing great anyway. I'll get back on this thread now. You got any requests Mutton?

those cartoony adventurers are freaking lively! Very nice. "Some dude examining his manicure" is good, too. Your abstracted/cartoony stuff works well because it's very well articulated and applies true light and shadow to it's own special anatomy accurately.

bwkeough, xia, Burning Eyes, bRyaN: THANKS a bunch! I had a lot of fun with these characters. I think it might have brought me out of the artistic rut I felt coming.

great update man! I really like the SP knight image and that first pencil drawing. Both of those show enough of the people that you have a sense of character but they still show the scene well. The painting of the woman looks really good, too, but I can't tell if she's leading that legion of doom or about to F them up. The ink drawings are lovely, also.

Congrats on the forthcoming Baby Deschamps!!

bwkeough: Damn...I didn't mean for that knight to look like me. Aghh I hate that sometimes... stuff always ends up looking like me, haha. Glad you like the stuff. Man, I can't wait for the baby! Thanks!

    van: Thanks van. I'm tryin.

I updated an old piece... her face really bothered me. Looked retarded.

Beautiful, beautiful.. omg. LOL.. I saw your empress pic somewhere before - I think gfxartist, and fell in love with it. I don't know why you thought the old face was retarded, but it looked more.. dark and mature, the new one is a bit generic. But that's for your to decide
Also looooove your concepts! Great sketchbook, I'll be keeping an eye on it
