awesome man, your sketches never fail to impress. Thanks for sharing.
I self-published a book on the fundamentals of drawing from life.
so is Jack Black really serious about getting the Vote out? Have to fight back the evil tentacles of Kang and Klang? More cool stuff from you, I like the melancholy lizard king.
I want more ink.
Really nice post ~~~ your feeling out of the forms is outstanding ~~~ especially since were most likely done from photos. Good work!!
On the other hand SW art is sinking into the sunset and as Custer say at the end "to damn many indians"
Now, that said, you are probably part Choctaw or Crow, if so a apologize!
I like the indian who's wearing an upside-down tu-tu (nah I can tell it's a turkey or something, but tu-tu was my first impression!).
some earlier pages that I didn't comment on: the centipede with fins and tentacle mandibles is awesome, and I absolutley love that quick ink drawing of your sketchbook while you draw in the windowseat of a plane!
oooh this last painting is nice!
I second that! I hope you finish that one. I'm diggin' the traditional SP also. Great update, I hope the next one doesn't take as long.
ts been forever since I've been to your thread! You are...a genius! That last dump especially had some great contents...the first image on the brown toned paper is incredibly haunting, your creatures are beautifully dynamic and really have a sense of life to them, your SP's are sharp, figures are lovely and intelligently rendered, and your digi-paints flat out rock. My only critique, and it is a small and humble one, is that sometimes your ink (or brush marker, its hard to tell) paintings lose their lighter highlight areas, so they look dark and shadowed. Maybe have a cup of water nearby and water your brush down a little for the light areas, or go over in white conte when the ink is dry. The simple line inks are my favorites, especialy that baby. Beautiful!
Moral of the story...I fuckin' worship you man! And your frequent postage sends my heart all a-flutter. Keep it up!

Layil: I'm trying!! Yeah... I know this little self portrait doesnt count.
Blue Oil pastel with a razor here and there.
I know I meant to comment on the last post...the SP's keep getting better. The foot studies and that quick digital illustration also look good.
WHOA WHOA WHOA! HOLD THE PHONE MAN!
These sketches are top-notch... beautiful stuff! Your sketches have like, way advanced in the past couple of months.... not that your sketches were bad before, but they are really great now!
Love the Foster homage!
