@ clifFroth: all the color studies are done in photoshop, tried painter for a while but it has an annoying tendency of crashing without warning

Those are some really impressive studies, especially your line work. Very crisp and clean, and you handle faces exceptionally well. I really like how you handle your shading as well.

Nice speedpaintings too, very loose brushwork which I dig. As for critiques, I'd say be a bit more careful on nailing the shapes for your speedpaintings at an early stage, then work on the values/colors later on - I think that will make it a bit easier to render.

Other than that, you're doing great with these studies.

Nice studies - Especially the environments. Your command of colour and shapes is good, and I can see clear improvement from page 1 - keep it up!

I really like your painting and drawing studies. It would be great to see some more work totally from imagination. When you create work from your head, it helps you figure out what you are lacking or what you might not know how to do.

Hey mate, nice studies and sweet lines. Probably, when you doing digits, you should try to pay more time into defining edges, and smoothing transitions (smudge tool with textured brush applied). Anyway, keep it up )
