Hey shamandalie, nice to see you in the selfportrait's section . I think that you really have to focus on construction. Make a bit of heads studies, and it will be really easier God luck on your journey to improvment !! Keep it up

Walid D - Thanks for dropping by dude! You are right, i'm having alot of trouble with construction. I will work hard!

I thought that my skills are not improving, but then i realise something. I cant paint life! AT ALL. I can copy from a photo but when it comes to life drawings/paintings, it's just horrible. (No wonder i used to get Cs for drawing class.)
Was looking through Algenpfleger's speed painting and trying to follow. But..BAH.
    Gotta practise more. @_@

Yeah ! better than the previous one ! That's why I really find drawing from photos not really interresting ( so to learn colors it's quite good, but to learn proportions, construction, it's not the best ) When you draw from life, you have to transform a 3d object in front of you in a 2d representation on your paper. With a picture, you just redraw a 2d object, and loose all the processus of representing a 3D object ! That's why it's hard !! So Keep it up ! Wanna see more

some blind contour drawings for today. I realise this has better line quality than looking and concentrating at the paper! Goodness. Think i should learn to draw properly first.
