    Watchmen: The Comedian :)

So been awhile been away. I'd love to say I have been toiling away for the past month but honestly I've done my share of veggin out on Little Big Planet, and just recently got back on a working bender. Here's the Comedian. A labor of love I have been waiting on for a while until I had enough source material to work with. 1/5-ish scale. Super Sculpey and Grey SS firm. I'm intending to do a 6 piece mold next week. Fingers crossed. Tell me what you guys think. Your comments feed the monkey.

what do you use to brush on the paint thinner or vaseline or whatever you use to smooth the clay, i always end up with extreme brush strokes in my sculpts.

I have no idea what to say.. I don't think 'WOW' is the right word to use. Amazing my friend.. btw your last sculpt kicked ass, and my ass off the chair too. Love it.

Thanks guys. UndeadSAC, I actually don't use any thinning agent or rakes. I smooth as I work with my fingers, some people frown on that, but I find it easier when working with this much detail, terp or alcohol may have done more harm than good.

Also MaddMaestro. I am working on 3 pieces right now. One is an original, called "Slickback Hob and the Nightcaps" The other 2 are Watchmen pieces, here is the reference art.

As I've said elsewhere, you've really killed this piece, Sean. The details really came together here. All that's missing is a brilliant paint job.

I'm looking forward to seeing the work on the companion pieces.

... a cry went up into the shuddering air, and faded to a shrill wailing, passing with the wind, a voice bodiless and thin that died, and was swallowed up, and was never heard again in that age of this world.

Thanks guys. KU, the whole reason I'm kitting this is so somebody with actual talent will paint this proper. My paint-ups look look someone with epilepsy tried to do it.
