    Well, the amount of work you posted gives us a good cross section, and will help with how we critique your general skills. Each piece has a very gothic feel to it, and the texturized backgrounds are fantastic. It gives each one a unique feeling and personality. I would possibly push the contrasts a little more, and make sure each has a crisp outline. The next level, I think, would be the major detailing step where you cram as much detail and texture on them as you can.

    I completely agree with what has been said. You work is really good and show a good flair for design but what I would suggest, instead of trying different colours out, try picking one of your pieces and design the creature from a few different angles. This will help you develop the creatures in a more 3d sense.
