Strange that there are no comments. I really like what you've done here especially with the colours you've chosen.
I think it´s pretty cool. I think you caught the attributes of the different materials well. Good job. And he´s got an expression! Thats good. But, I don´t understand the expression at all. What is he doing? What is he trying to convey? To me it just feels like a random expression. Pleasant colours.
This is really well done!
But what is he looking at with such surprise? The picture isn't complete.
At least Icarus tried!

could put some more work on the floor to wall
(Also, the digitally flopped/distorted reflection of the chair doesn't work, because it doesn't take the perspective of the scene into account.)

this is awesome dude, how much time took to make that?
I like the idea of the dressed dog, smoking a cigar, sitting in a chair, but I agree with the above posters in that the reason for his expression is unclear.
I think the real issue I take with this at the moment is that it's got such a, hmm, classic 1920's vibe to it (or whatever period you want to say, not very modern) that really begs for something besides vaguely reflective blue backgrounds...you need some smoky wood panelling in there or something, some hardwood floor, some oriental carpet or flagstones. Something that conveys moneyed life. Right now he looks like he's on display in a shopfront window.
nice painting. I agree with the comments made on the expression. I myself see him saying:
"Well I'll be...., that late already! Good lord.... I am going to be late for the weekly poker game with the other gents."
