Thanks Danlambert! My value definately needs work, I'm trying to think of some metal things to paint next, maybe I have a chrome ball lying around. I did the COW once, it was fun, I should really try again, I keep forgetting.

Well I kinda got the perspective right, but the metal parts look bad and it just looks unfinished. Gotta spend more time on it self!

I was going to do the chrome things on the end of my curtain rods, but turns out they're not detachable....

I wanna go back to fruit, they were so much funner.

Turns out my curtain rod is detachable, I just used the wrong side. This came out way bad though D:

My cellphone. I think I'll stop doing a painting a day when school starts (Sept. 8th) and instead do one good still life a week as opposed to 1 lame one a day.

A soap dispenser with real paint, must be 10x harder than to do it digitally, nice job I'd say, well done, keep on posting

I went camping over labor day weekend. Got some nice pictures of salamanders and drew stuff. I'm not starting weekly paintings until next week since I'm starting school this week and need to come up with my new routine.

    Doodles in my moleskine:

Today was my first day of school, so I just doodled. I might refine the one on the left, and make a better picture of the dragon type thing on the right.

I've been so inactive! *shame* I'm going for a weekly workshop starting next weeked, so then I'll probably have paintings. I just don't want to lift a paintbrush right now...

The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art is goregeous! I wish I could go everyday, but I live to far away. On the first day we did a charcoal drawing, but we all had the wrong materials list so I could only do a small part of the awesome still life since my notebook was too small. I'll scan it tomorrow. A doodle

and a mini shot of a WIP. Any glaring errors? I may redo the face

I can't find my sketchpad thing, but last week I drew a live odel for the first time! I was all scared because it's a real live naked person, but it was fun

I updated yesterday but it didn't work for some reason. Here we go:

Still life from PAFAFAFAFAFA. Some kind of pelvis and driftwood?

    Finished from the WIP

I will update with that figure drawing soon! I keep forgetting to take a picture of it.

    not done yet

Finally that study from like 3 weeks ago. Very crappy picture, but I think it was good for my first real figure drawing of a model

I do a lot of Loomis studies but I never get around to scanning them. Also whenever I draw all the skeletons and stuff my "style" kinda comes out and they all end up looking really weird, especially the skulls. I need to make my drawins more objective.

I like the studies from animal anatomy. It's definitely very different.

    Thanks NinjaCat!

I think part of my new year's resolution is being more active on this website. That means posting those studies I do everyday, which will make them better because I usually rush and it's just as bad as doing nothing at all! Also I should probably start making my picture sizes smaller. I feel like this page takes hours to load!
