    tomi's place - 11/26/2008 - big d/l

    hi,
    my name is tomi, i am a hungarian dude living in vienna and am 21 yrs old. i've been drawing for quite a while now and been lurking in the forums for what, 4-5 years now? soo.. i decided to open a sketchbook. this is the output of the last few months, i will split it up in seperate posts hope you like some of it

    Life Drawings: (expect more soon!)
    well, i just started out with charcoal, it needs some time to get used to, but its so much fun rubbing it around and having it on your hands...i love it

    this is one of my sketchbooks i usually have with me, i like to keep it loose, sketchin in cafés, parks, you know, relaxing using staedtler pigment liners and warmgrey copics. there you go:

    these are from a travel sketchbook (a moly) which i filled when we were travelling california for 3 weeks, i know its not much for 3 weeks, i was writing more than drawing :/

    here's some digital value studies and misc. stuff from other sketchbooks. i will stop now, because i'm flooding my own thread haha

    I like your sketchbook drawings best. You can feel the immediacy in them. As for the life drawing I want to see more confident strokes, don't be afraid of the charcole, its ok if it doesn't turn out right.

    @blythe: thank you, also for being the first to comment
    as for the life drawings, im trying to be more confident, but before i can be confident with the strokes, i have to be confident with holding the charcoal first and applying it to the paper, so yeah, it'll take a while, but i'm practicing! thanks.

    here some more i just captured (i dont have a working scanner, just a scsi one which takes 1h for one picture damn thing) but size A2 wouldn't fit on the scanner anyways so..
