Self Portrait Day November 1st- it's that time again.

I couldn't see anything in the lounge or frontpage so I thought I'd post a quick reminder for those of you who don't pop into "Finally Finished" very often, Self Portrait Day is nearly upon us.

    http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=139827

The rules are simple, do a self portrait (any medium/style) on November 1st and post the results in the thread.

    Ah cool. Sounds fun!
It's been a while since I've done a proper self portrait.
    Thanks for the heads up!

    Check out my sketchbook.

Eeep! Wish I'd heard about this last Sunday, a couple days isn't much.

Ah well, maybe I'll just let that test tomorrow suffer a little. Heh. What's a grade anyways? I'm sure I'll scrape by anyhow.

Not having done one for 20 years was sort of scary, but I enjoyed it. Might have spent longer on it if I hadn’t booked to have my hair cut midday. Great fun – get out there and join in.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

Thanks for letting us know! Next year, I hope we hear about it sooner, as I almost didn't make it. It was great seeing everyone's different approaches, I am definitely impressed with a few..

Check out my sketchbook? updated 02.01
