F*ck you. Seriously. I'm so jealous. J/k about the f-you. But seriously I'm jealous and I love the 3-d stuff. What do you do for a living? It looks like you might be into some ID stuff. Well keep the good work coming.
Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.

Should have adjusted the values before hand, original image was kind of desaturated I'm not sure if that hinders a value study or not.

So I'm doing dominance war this year, this was for the first 'mini challenge'. I wanted to get in on both the 2d and 3d but I always forget the amount of fucking hoop jumping that happens with 3d work.
and some quick concept to character before the big event.

Your 3D stuff rocks. Your lineart is clean and strong. Guess you know what you're lacking at the moment. Try do more colour mood studies and quick painting while alternating with lengthy work of finish painting. You can reuse some of your lineart and try doing a realistic painting with it.
Keep it up mate.

Thanks guys, ya I need to bounce around between values and colors more often. I still have a hard time getting my values to pop the way I want so I hesitate doing color studies.
