there shall be no dissing on the batman, grafguy!

Now for something different than humans; monsters, rawr!
These are just some ideas i've drawn out, need to make one of them in illustrator and then animate them in after effects.

With the first one i feel it looks like a failed little big planet costume, the second one would be fun to animate the heart in his hands and spider legs and stuff (but i'm actually terrified of spiders so don't think i would enjoy animating them x.x)

For the other monster on the disk, the black circles are eyes and the other circles are zits/warts that will grow and pop. Wanted to try and make it a bit unrealistic by making the tower/movement thingy too slim and the last one is more organic tree type of thingy. I'll prolly try and merge the monster in with the tree instead of leaving it on the disk since garfguy suggested that

Awwwwwww! They may be monsters, but they're cute lil monsters!

    hehe thanks
made a new design since i think this one would be more fun to work with. Had to change a lot to make it easier to animate tho since it'll be the first time i'm working in after effects.

    Thanks all
hey ravanslayer, the link your posted doesnt work properly but i can see the picture you're reffering to. I've never watched or read bleach so it's the first time i see that
The creature was more inspired to Loki and satyrs and zealots and stuff (i assume the bleach design is inspired to satyrs as well)

The little guy is actually kinda like santa clause, tho instead of giving good kids gifts at christmas, he slaughters the bad ones in a ritual (small difference :p) the purple things on his shoulders are leaves/feathers but not hair, don't know if i was able to draw it clear enough or not

Soon more illustrative/photography update coming (and hopefully more study drawing)

Wow, some crazy pictures there . I would go for the first version. Although the second one could be great to if you could scale it up a bit .

Note to self: Sketchbooks do not like 40k dialup.

I like that you've added your photography here too, shows that you have many different artistic talents. And it's always nice to see a bit of variation too

Don't forget to continue drawing realistic stuff to- your figures, shapes, etc, in a variety of ways. Show us your process- the build, the skin, etc. It'll help us to figure out how you work.
