Very nice! your photography is really good too. But keep working those figure drawings until your hands bleed.

thanks frittzell and Deodatus! I don't have any professional lights for my photography that i can play around with, but i guess i'll just have to try and be more creative with the resources that i do have :p
Here's a speedpaint i did just now(well drawing..and not really speed because it was an hour to get me to this, i work way too slow)

Hands are hell- I know many people who try to avoid them. Me included... *shudder*

Try this. If you have a few mins free a day, draw a hand. Doesn't have to be detailed, either. Just rough proportions. Just a quick one. Keep this up, and eventually you will learn how a hand is made up. It's easier than doing long studies that take days, and when you're still learning, it will help.

Keep it up, you're pwning this all!

Hehehe, we also need to catch up with Lyno, GrafGuy and Sublimus. They're just too good for their own good! XD

    Hi Lav .
Good to hear you're going to do more Loomis studies. For the Sp in post #71 I think the first one and third one are great! For the 2nd one, you need more forehead. Remember, the eyes are in the middle of the face .

You'll have to find a way to make the studies fun to do. But if you like doing Riven Phoenix studies, thats great too
Tip: Try to think before placing your lines down, now they look somewhat like "scribbles".

thanks for the tip, and yeah i really enjoy doing riven phoenix studies more, eventho they're a lot more detailed instead of general shapes.
By the way, is it normal that i'm doing like at least half an hour per sketch like those skeleton hands? i really feel like i cant get any faster at all, maybe i should do more 30 second poses as well or something?

Damn! Now you've got a better grasp of the human anatomy than I have! (though i never really had one in the first place)

Keep it up, I wanna see dynamic posing next and awesome cloths effects!

nice....bring some structure into these sketches. eg. the arms of the standing woman look weird...proportions are pretty good on the figures, but i guess you need loomis for faces!
