[QUOTE=Lav;3460969]but i'm wondering if I should stick to the limited colours and lot of linear work or push myself with the watercolour?

Push yourself! even from if it fails you learned one way how not to do it!

    Nice work you have here.

Please, excuse me for the possible errors in my English.

Oi! where are you? you havn't updated in a while I think this last one is pretty cool but could really benefit from some purple or blue perhaps in place like the flap of skin being pulled up. I'd give that whole traingle-ish area a wash of a cooler(temperature) and darker tone maybe.

It's been forever since I've updated but that will change!
I've been keeping myself busy with my new job, learning 3D in ZBrush and Mudbox. Still having mainly issues with the eyes.

    Hey Lav
Been too long since i visited in here. It's so awesome that you got a job doing 3d, the model you did looks really awesome i once tried to do some stuff in 3dsmax and failed miserably so it's great to see that it is possible to produce something as great as this in 3d looking forward to seeing more

@Miycko, I did modeling in 3DSMax but sculpting is a lot more fun I must say It isnt always easy, especially when you're trying to master it on your own so hopefully I can get good advice here and on other forums

@Harbinger, haha nice Glad you like it, thanks!

@Jarkuzy, thanks, always nice to find another Belgian here

This is still a w.i.p. I think he needs more wrinkles

ohh those 3d sculpts are looking awesome!
I think the eyes look very good!

hmm I don't know if the eyeballs are separate or part of the model, since there's no closeup of them. But if they are part of model I think modeling them separate and leaving the eyes of the main model empty would give you more control on the eyelid shape, if that is what you're referring to when you say you have problems with the eyes.

Anyways it's just a suggestion since I think they look great so far ha!

I'd like to point out that those heads were from a 3D scanning based mesh which I can't show because it's property of the company I'm working for so I can't show the full W.I.P. but I don't want to give people the wrong impression, I did not built it from a generic sphere mesh in ZBrush (which i do use for other excersises, will hopefully update soon)

Please tell me what is happening in your life my dear friend?
We haven't talked for such a long time, and I missed you so much.
I hope you are all right, I can see that you started to become a 3D
mastermind. I am really happy about your success and improvement.
Please write me a postcard when you come back, and please say
that you are ok, cause I am really worried.
