I like the design, reminds me of the cartoon zoids.
Anyway, his hind end needs something, a tail mayhaps? Just my opinion.
His hands also look human-ish compared to the dog look of his body, maybe claws would be more adaptable?

Just my thoughts. It's not rendered too far yet, so nothing on the painting side (I think).

ya it does look a bit humanish.

the hands, to me, have got to go. This is part machine, and it looks like it was kinda built for speed, but full-palmed hands don't come to mind in that idea. ya know?

exaggerate the pelvis, make it stand up a bit, similar to a cheetah's or other four-legged creature.

looks good though, the head is really interesting, reminds me of a jet of some sort.

maybe on the face have tubes coming out of the circular bumps you have ont he side of its face?

    has a lot of potental

    good luck

I to like the design, the overall idea is great.
the pose looks good and heavy but what could improve it is to make the shoulders a bit more extruded from the actual back, so it looks more like a cat prowling!! It gives the impresion that it is agile and quick Thats all i can think of and keep up the great work.

i think the hands are the only think to keep it looking a bit like a human creature.
it would look much different if the would change into claws or just blades

i think you need to add some flesh or something to let it look less like a robot.
now it reminds me to anime robots like in nge.

thanks for the great feedback everyone. i incorporated some of the suggestions. i still want to mess around with the hands/claws though, haven't made a decision about that. i don't know if i like the difference of the human hands and the animal like feet. i'll probably take away a coule of the eyes/lights, and add more details to his biceps.
