MSR STONEHEART Skechtbook 1.0 - WORKING EVERYDAY
Hy CA community. I'm a student of Ilustration at Arts School of Valladolid (SPAIN). I knew about this community one year ago by a classmate of mine.
In that moment I was not sure about what I wanted to do ... but when I knew about this fantastic community I decided to learn more about art.

Hola Miketaylor. ¡bienvenido a C.A.!!

this is a portrait of my cousin with his favorite actor Harrison Ford.
I did it this summer for my cousin. It was the birthday present.
I didn't had many time in that moment so it wasn's finished. But I think this unfinished aspecto isn't bad.
so if someone want to coment you can do that.

I did this piece last year at art school.
It consisted of a portrait using anything objects like the Art of ARCHIMBOLDO.
It was to fanny to do.
I don't like the the tecnic but I think that the idea is interesting, so I will do more one with digital tecnics.
Sory for my poor english.

To TASmith: This is my last digital painting.
This is a selfportrait with tatoo.
Now I'm working in a mini comic project. But I can't post any images because I want to present it to a comic competition.
Once I present it I will post sketches and definitive pages of it here.
Up to now you have to be sdatisfied with some old pieces.
Thanks for reply.

Wow, those drawings are really good, whether you were younger or not. I need to try and improve my drawing.
Bones are probably a good place to start, you could attend some life drawing lessons if you want something to really help your anatomy. It has really helped me and I've only done it twice.

October 26th, 2008 #22Others ara some dirty draws I did half yaer ago.
Good sketches! I think your bones are perfect. When I see your drawing of the boy with the leafs I think you should work on your anatomy. A lot is wrong. But the drawing next to it with the bat is so much better!
I also like the girl... is that also without any reference? Because that's really good! For the guy you should practise on drawing hands and feet. Also, the head looks a little bit small. When I measure it it's about the right size though... maybe the head is just a little thin.

nancy_kelpie: yes, i drow it wihtout reference. many times I draw without thinking. I know that it isn't good but I'm very impatient and i want to finish things as soon as pisible. When I drew the girl I drew it more carefully so the sketch is drawn better.

Thanks Walid D. You are sure. I have to draw from life. I'm going to try it hardly!
October 29th, 2008 #27
Lovely sketchbook you have here.... It really seems to pay off when you take the extra time to finish things off more thoroughly... keep that up! And do try drawing from life more often
