    Twyford Twain

    His name is Twyford Twain....Some say he is a bit off in the head well we may never know.

    The original was created in Super Sculpy and the final piece is a custom blended translucent resin designed to give him that lived in look

    There is some work involved but maybe not as much as you think. The sculpture was done in about a day and about a day to create the molds for the resin. The painting is done with an acrylic based ink called FW Artist inks. Because the resin already has a skin like appearance I use a tooth brush for most of the painting.

    I'll post a few more in this series soon but thanks again for looking!

    Thanks everyone... Here are some shots of the original sculpture. This piece came about in a very weird way. My power was out due to some wind storms so I decided to sculpt something... This is how Twain came to be...lol... I actually had to sculpt him by candle light because my power was out for days. Well here are the results.
