wow great man, could u teach me some about ur paint strukture and rutin ? i would like to here how u working progress is...
thx for answer !!!
Hey thanks!
Umm my painting structure is mostly improvised. I dont have a set style or method. I go with the flow and whatever tools I find along the way then I use them if theyre useful to what I'm trying to paint. But I tend to focus on what matters the most to me in my paintings. Like metal textures and clothes, they need different brushes to get the right strokes..If there's anything specific youd like to ask go ahead.
dont know to start with questions, man ur stuff is awesome. if u like to you can do a new work, and get me screenshots with the steps u doing. i would be real thanksfull for that. could be a small tiny work ust a head or full buddy with not that many details. just how u get the struktur in ur paintings. and for me much important how did u get the awsome renderings. and if you like to visit my sketchbook to see what im able to so you maybe can give me an good tip for my next level i SHOULD take
all in all ur a hero man![]()
ps.
i start a threat with a new work and show my workflow, maybe u find something in my process u would do different or better.

cool work, your work is always improving, from great to awesome greatteach me!
OK since I havent posted anything good for a few days I think I'll post something I decided to do in regards to my character designing AND Lighting. It's a quick thought process and the aim is to show some stages of how I work. Think of it as a simple tutorial
I decided to go with a 'smart' looking character. Theres a lot of animes that inspired me to make this guy. Like Zangetsu from Bleach, Vincent from Cowboy Bebop: Knockin on heavens door, Aaaand CP9 Rob Lucci from One Piece.

and its most exciting, and funnest!
Hey Mozhart! Some animation skills are really on display! What program are you using to put them together? Your concepting skill are nigh lacking either. Hope you don't mind me popping in! Would really like to see more anatomy studies here too, who are you looking at, Hogarth?

Thanks for popping in! for the animations, I'm using PhotoshopIt's really simple and easy to use. I only discovered it a few days ago so you can see how easy it must be! hehe. As for the anatomies, I rarely show my studies on here because I merge them with my character designs. So basically I study right before I design a character.
I havent really looked at many artists for that subject to be honest... I've only just recently picked up a book on Loomis and Bridgman. But I havent got the chance to study anything out of them... heh...
I studied some Da Vinci back in College though![]()
Awesome animation on the Samurai sprite! This will look great...i know
Great character creation too!
hey the tutorial was real real good for me and i lern a lot. if its possible, i got an other question. i know now bit more of light, and i try bit colour managment. a problem i still hav is Material. i dont know how i could insert materials. my works look like a comic. its not bad ,but i like to lern more about texture. when ur able to, could u do short tut for texture.
thxs man i watch your post and it inspire me much...
Awesome show of progress. I think the lighting you did from the blue ball earlier was a bit overkill, though.
Thanks for the quick tutorial![]()
heck ya ur sprites are sick dude
Hey man awesome stuff.
I would like to see a bit more interaction with you characters, as in characters interacting with each other or objects, they're all kinda just standing there with an in your face badass attitude; for example it would be nice to see a shoot out sequence, or some characters battling each other, some every day stuff would be cool to, someone using a computer, a conversation or drinking a cup of coffee. Draw out a story board or some panels from a movie.
I was reading an article about comics the otherday and they said they most of the time the problem with portfolios is that really great artists forget to focus on the more mundane aspects of life in their artworks, like people walking through the park and feeding birds. Portfolios full of "Hero Stances" just dont show the artists full ability to express emotion they said.
Go outside with your sketch book and observe humans in their natural habitat.
I'd also say your pigeon holing yourself with to much anime inspired coloring and construction, but that could also be your chosen niche.
Anyway your artwork is totally awesome, but i doubt you need me to tell you that.
Good advice there. I was thinking about this earlier that I never make my characters interact with anything like you said.
It's probably become a habit of mine as a, concept artist, that I create characters this way for clients. And what clients want is the general idea of the character and to be done in a short amount of time of course. So no fancy stuff is needed since the piece will go back and forth with feedback for change etc.
I will take in your suggestion though for future reference. I'll certainly try out some paintings with more interactions. As for the influence, my work is majorly fed off my own interests, and if it coincides with the clients then so be it. if not ill do my research on the spot and make the change![]()
Thanks man!
laxon - Youre welcome
Joce - Thanks![]()
amazing... there are some things you could improve but its really been said.
the animation is flawless
OK Something out of my field of experience...ENVIRONMENTAL CONCEPT ART! AGHHHHH!
Currently working in progress...I'm not used to working on envrios and I get lost sometimes.
