    Alex's Stickmen and friends

Hello, been a while since I have posted so I have decided to post my progress, I'm an architectural student, finally finished my 5 years! I'm interested in conceptart, and have been for a while so I thought might be interesting to start tracking a progress through a sketchbook. So I guess here we go

I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

Ahh! I really like you're figure work and the schematic, almost artificial details to them! Does that have to do with you're underwork at all? Or is it for aesthetic? Have you been working to be more realistic than abstract lately or is it the other way around?
    Is there a way around?

    Thanks for the nice words,

Lemming-clone: The stickmen are sort of schematic because when I started these gesture drawing I was using the lines to figure out the planes and rotations of the body parts, they are essentially the construction lines. Then I quite liked them and started exaggerating them for more aesthetic effect.

I really love what you do with your figures. They're so elegant.

"This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy." -Douglas Adams
