    Hey bro

The Purple Slasher is really good! You got some pretty muted colours in her face, as compared for example with her hair. It's an interesting combination how you painted it. Thank you for sharing. Have fun with your next piece. =)

Also really liking your 'purple slasher', great pose and balance in the figure, and you really adapted that beetle as far as colour and form.
Great work in here, especially like your life drawing, and the the watercolours are very strong also, something I have always struggled with.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I come with a little poor update.. lately Im working to improve my skills with zbrush, maya etc and i didnt draw enough

snatti: Thanks!, yes it worth to give a try.
alexson: Thank you! glad to know youre looking over there.
Malakuko: Thanks! well I began with watercolors some years before digitals, but i think watercolor is a good training for any technique or medium cause it forces you to get loose. If youre used to watercolors you will probably tend to work with whole color layers in different opacity and other similar manners... it happened to me when i began with digitals.
Ardescoere: Yes, is a dung beetle, and he helps me to clean my house
jk, is a Rhino beetle and actually is not alive, but is surprisingly good preserved. I found it while walking in the mountain.
    qlotzan: Thank you very much!
Kungfoowiz thanks! im not much happy with the face..
    Electricleash thank you!
Parsakoira, thank you! will try to post more enviros.
Kingkostas Thank youu dude! glad you like it!
Kojot thanks! im working to improve that.

Haaa.. your works are always looking good! =)

Got some pretty mean 3d guys too.. Not sure if you got a specular map for your Cylops guy, he looks a bit dim, either some more normal map or specular should brighten him up a bit. Cooooool, keep going bro! =)

Ahh it's been such a modivating pleasure looking through your SB, i have nothing to critique, it would be an insult

I'm curious, what sculpting brushes in ZBrush do you primarily use after using zpheres to create the basic-low-poly-mesh? not textures, but just getting more substance and form.

    cheers, keep posting!!

    ...the imperfections make it interesting...

thanks for the kind words guys, means a lot for me!
Dope Fiend thank you very much for looking my book, you can critique what you want, cause it helps me... I normally build the basic shape in Maya, it makes the base mesh much more manageable for the next use. later in zbrush I use the Move, inflate, Claybuildup... and for this osseous protuberances i mask, invert and then apply an inflate/magnify combo... Masking is very very useful. I hope it helps!

    Spanish mode ON:
Excelente trabajo Ricardo!
