I drew this from a pic Jason put up of Coro and Android. It was from that wannabe thug thread.

I missed not being able to go to the Austin Workshop, so I drew from pics that peeps posted to make me feel what it was like to have been there.
(see if you can spot who I drew on these next pages)

( this is probably one of my favorite pages in my sketchbook. (btw, I like making the tip of the nose darker that it is so it gives it that redish look)
This one's for the three of you guys that inspire me soooooooooooooooo much!

Fuckin awesome work man. I especially love your life drawings. I'm curious what supplies you used for this sketch. I'm doing figure drawing tomorrow and I'd like to try that out.

dako: For that drawing I drew on grey canson paper with Conte 1710 2B pencils. For the highlights I used ivory nupastel and sanded the tip down to a point. ( a tip for drawing that way is to let your paper be the middle value and dont let any of your darks and lights come to close together, but rather let the color of the paper make that transition for you)

For one of my classes we were drawing facial expressions and dealing with emotion. So we were given a list of emotions and we had to take pics of someone making those expressions. I chose my main man Alec! Whose one of the funniest guys I know.

After drawing him this is what I came up with.
I used woodless pencils and I drew on printer paper. (I especially liked drawing on it because it was suuuuuuuuuuuper smoooth and my pencil glided really well over the paper)

Hey buddy good to see you loosen up a bit more. Just keep going for it. I see you use a LOT of contour, only advice would be to start doing a lot more form along with your linework and mix it up a bit. Just for something fun and diff .

GOod stuff and worth the wait. Awesome...

Hey I just saw those emotion ones. Very expressive, I love it. Emotions are fun to play with for sure, I have little practice in that but when I do some it is really exciting.

You really captured him, I can tell his enthusiasm and get a sense of personality from these!

    Sweeeet drawings!
The page with Andrew, Coro and Wes on it rawks!
But also so much else of your stuff I love, can't mention everything. Sketch 123 f.i. or 121.
There some flaws either but I think you really are on the right path.
