    Marilyn and the Green mile guy and Harrison F are awesome! I also like the woman figure on the last page.. some really nice work!!!!!!!!!!! let's see more figures/heads from life!! ( sometimes hard to have models at your beck-and-call but.. you know - just saying ---!!!).. sorry I went to the old SB.. I am mildly retarded most days ( from oil paint fumes and Liquin no doubt!)

    Wow! A little bit from everything!
    And you sure do know how to capture our eyes in a drawing!! You make those little details in that one spot, and you make them shine!

    I also like the colour scheme you use, and the way you draw noses. Very stylized

    Man, I have to admit that I haven't got through this sb in a long time, and now, after seeing all in a row it's been really amazing to see your progression

    I love these rembrandt and vermeer studies you id, and all your series of portraits.. I'll have to download the Zhang Lu video

    Keep up this 5 stars work!!

    thanks to all who commented, makes me happy that some people like my works
    been so busy with my summer vacation job, shitty job, but i got to pay the billsss, i often come home and don't have the energy to draw. makes me super depressed sometimes...i really hate that! it's like a block...sometimes i stare at a white page and just go blank...and if you draw something it fails horrible...blegh. don't know what to do about it, just draw i guess?..

    anyways, here are some heads from memory from tonight.
    have a nice weekend!

    @llex_paul
    no not always, but i read/heard somewhere that "always use a bigger brush then you think you need". i mostly use a hard brush with settings like opacity 60% and flow 80% (in photoshop). and for finishing touches opacity 100 and flow the same i guess, i play around a lot. But i consider myself a beginner in photoshop painting, so much to learn. i haven't even begun on different brushes/textures. I learned a lot by watching the zhanglu video, he uses kind of the same brush settings.

    Holy shit man. Amazing stuff in every respect. Love the oils (or acrylics?) on the first page. And the Green Mile stuff is great Perfect likeness.
