Angel Intheuk - Caricatures and studies + UPDATED FEB 2014 +
My name's Angela, I like caricature, portrait and fantasy painting and food. After I finished studying Illustration I found myself working full time and not really painting much, but I would always seem to be doing caricatures and stuff for friends and family and that went well so I decided to go back to studying anatomy, gestures and caricature etc to fill in the (many)gaps and broaden my skills into digital. I usually use ink, pencil, watercolour or oil and after discovering Photoshop I fell in love...
....critique very much encouraged and appreciated!

Very nice start here! Your life drawings and caricatures are looking good.
I feel that some of the stylisation is actually a bit off. On the last one I think it's mostly about the eyes, or more precisely, the distance between them is very narrow and those character seem to be missing their lower jaws.
You can of course keep narrow chins and jaws but probably put in a light curve and hint where the jaw would be.
keep it up. Some nice stuff here.

First picture is a mate who wanted to know what she looked like with grey hair and pointy elf ears...so I had a play around with liquify etc, pasted her chickens into the background
Second picture is the last finished photoshop piece I did, which I was quite pleased with. I'm hoping to post up some new photoshop stuff soon, as soon as I have time to do finish one of the many I've started :Z
