Thanks Zou I put the title of the DSG on that sketch so it explains it more, thanks for taking to time to make your suggestions, very useful. I knew things weren't working too well, but I had limited time and was ill during half of that (bugger) so my stamina wasn't what it was, but enough of excuses! p.s I must not sound too girly in my posts, yeah I'm the only female in our group, that's ok though, I'm not really a girly girl ;D

Here's a wip, of Vivienne Westwood, thought I'd start colouring the sketch a did a while ago, now I've got some time to do some random stuff I want.

I also like your caricature work, and your figure studies. They have good values.

    Looking forward to see more!

Hey Angel, I love the etchings! What a cool way to archive your art. Fun caricatures as well. If you don't mind, I would suggest pushing the exaggeration even further. It becomes a fun challenge to see how far you can ahem, mangle the portrait while keeping a strong likeness. I love doing caricatures, but, I'd like to get more experience doing so.

That's an awesome character. Very strong in design and personality. The light source from one primary direction works really well, too.
Curious to see how you finish the space between her arms a and torso.

You have a great SB going here. Keep enjoying the process. We're enjoying the results.

Parsakoira Thanks very much! took me a minute to realise you meant fairy lol I liked the piece, lovely style but yeah, it didn't say monarch of music to me either. I really really loved Bangalore Monkey's

BlackDelphin Hiya and thanks for dropping by I will try and please

Aztecfireflower Never thought of etching as a way of preserving my artwork but that's a very good point! I need to finish them and then see if I can do some more. You're right about me not pushing the boundaries on my caricatures enough, I say that to myself everytime I do them then doubt keeps getting in there, 'Oh what if it doesn't look enough like them' and 'Don't want to offend them, they have to pay me for it' lol one day I'll get there. I'm also interested how I'm going to fill that space in between Viv's bodice and arms, I have no idea yet, any thoughts?

Well, this is just an angel I doodled after looking at this guys site...http://www.beksinski.pl/ was blown away by his style, lovely rendering and his homepage is awesome

Thanks Zou It's been a while since I last did watercolour, feeling a bit rusty and hesitant.

Here's a quick sketch, based on ref. Just trying something different.
