    hang on!

    Another piece in which I'm blending techniques. The saucers wrer painted in PS6, the plane was modeled and textured in MAX, and the cloudscapes are photos from flights.

    I like! Reminds me a little of the series "V" back in the eighties, but you did a better job blending your saucers into the cloudscape. Just don't start claiming you photographed the saucers on a recent plane trip. It's hard enough figuring out what's real without people deliberately hoaxing stuff. Great job!

    Thanks Dahami. V was in the back of my mind, OK, the front of my mind, as I did this piece. I remember being struck with awe when the shot of the mothership hovering in the Guatamalan sky.
    Maybe someday we'll all get to see it for real. Though I really doubt they'll be lizards come to steal our water!

    for a crit, the closer UFO, in the middle of it, right around the two rims that encase the black area with the little orange light, it looks a bit blurry or smudgy, in a way that i can completely tell its a painting, while the rest of it looks reallly clear and realistic...

    thats all that i notice.

    looks great overall!
