Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
This is my first-ish post. I've finally convinced myself to post my sketchbook up on CA.org after around a year and a half of lurking. I hope you guys can take the time critique my work, I'll try to return the favor, though my knowledge is still rather limited in the technical field.
Anyway, as for introductions-
I'm 16 years old (17 this April). I'm from the Philippines and I'm a freshman in college. I only started taking art a little bit more seriously when I first discovered CA, which was roughly a year and a half ago (Maybe two? I don't remember). Before that I've been more acquainted with "Anime-style" drawing and I think you can see a lot of that in my art today.
Sooooo, yes. That's it. o: I hope you guys enjoy and I'd really appreciate it if you guys could take the time to give me a few tips now and then.
UPDATE: APRIL 24, 2010
HELLO WORLD I'M BACK. It's been more than a year and I'm getting ready to turn legal, whuzzup. Since then I've moved to the art school of my dreams (Within the Philippines, at least) and I am FILLLLED with this crazy ass desire to improve.
Since I'm enjoying my summer break, let me update this sketchbook.
C'mon, CA, hit me up with some of your harsh critiques!

Here are some sketchy things to start things off. It's kinda too bad I can't put captions on these things. D:
1 - This one is a sketch I did after my friend told me to draw him a tribal guy. It was in the middle of class so I kinda started going crazy with it. Turned out nothing like a tribal guy, but I like it anyways. :)
2 - I finally took up his request for a tribal guy. Inked it with a tech pen. Still kind of getting the hang of that. Anatomy is clearly not reffed. Sadly, there aren't any sexy shirtless men roaming around my school :p
A bit more!
1 - A bit unhappy with how this came out. The lip got all messed up and the hands-- But I think it's still worth showing?
2 - Tried to do girls from different age ranges. Somehow I managed to draw some cougar-type lady, and everyone's just vaguely young-ish.
3 - Just some dude.
Hey and welcome!
that one is really nice !
Have you got any more work to show?
Few tips I can give you, if you really love art never stop! and keep on practicing and learning new stuff
some great drawing tuts can be found right here, motivation help right here.
keep it up!
Vimerge - Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my sketchbook. I'm glad you liked that drawing of mine. I really appreciate the links too, I'll try to check them out soon. And yes, I do have more art. Freshly scanned (I'm really lazy when it comes to scanning...)
Concept for a painting I plan on doing.
I like watercolors!
Something I'm working on.
