Been a while since I posted anything on here, so I thought I'd post what I've been working on and a current work in progress (See the Robot thread).
This was a commission for a film company producing a music video. It's molded in silicon from a fibre glass mold. If I'm honest I had abit of a nightmare painting it and wasn't too happy with the final look (I kinda wanted a more translucent look to it) but the client seemed happy, so I guess it was OK in the end.
Here's some concept pics too:
I also did a vid of the finished puppet in it's glass jar:
And here's a vid of the mold making process. Probably abit boring unless you're really interested in mold making ;0)

I like it a lot, I personally would of made it look more slimy.

Cool! And thanx for the mold-making-video!
I thought this was a very good like a lot of your work. It might have looked better with the paint job you suggested but still very good and I liked the mold making video helps a lot.
Very disturbing old man head on a fetus.

Heh... I think the Zombaby has a new friend. ^_^ Great work... very informative video on the mold making as well.

hey good to see you back
i saw what you did on your sets...great work
you doing great work even if it's very "strong" to me. Hard image
but when yo ufilming it, the render is awesome,
makes me think a litttle bit to Lynch's movies
what about your stopmovie?
Hye PJ, nice to hear from you again. Thanks very much, yeah the stop mo film is still being done, it's kinda been put on hold ot do this though, I'll get it done eventually ;0)
Nice looking baby - and it will be just perfect, when some unclear fluid in a disgusting colour limits your vision, and forces your imagination to work overtime.
woo it's incredibly real, the veins detail is great! the skin is very similar to a real fetus and the hairs give a very realistic look. GOOD WORK!
what type of silicone do you use
Ha, thanks, that looks cool. They said they'd send me a copy of the finished video so I'll post a pic or vid of it in the fluid once I have it.Nice looking baby - and it will be just perfect, when some unclear fluid in a disgusting colour limits your vision, and forces your imagination to work overtime.
Wow, that is so creepy... in a good way! ^^ but it really creeps me out, haha. xD great job! I'd also love to see it float around in some gooey liquid... ^^
