    My first 3D animation.

This is my first 3D animation-- It was actually done about three months ago, but I never did get much critique on it. Bear in mind, I haven't had any classes or training in lighting, or hard surface modeling, this was purely for the animation. It DOES get extremely dark toward the end, so bumping up your brightness would be a good idea-- I'll be sure to add more lights for future animations. I'm hoping mostly for critique on the overall feel and animation of the cameras and character. Last note-- The model isn't mine, and wasn't rigged by me, it was for a class, and we all had the same model. Thanks for taking a look!

A black character in a black environment with very low lighting?

    Really?

I think at the very least this needs some sort of rimlight on the characters to tell what is going on. Remember to make really strong poses with a good visible silhouette for your key poses and work on showing weight and weight shift.

It is too hard to see what is happening.

I won’t mess up my brightness for the sake of an animation! As it was aforementioned, be careful of your weight transfers; the root of the character looks like it’s on an invisible rail and that’s understandably a beginner’s mistake. I can only crit the first third of the video…
