    blexano- Maaaatt Daaamon!!!!
    Bushido- wow thanks!
    Kogaras- thank you very much
ChuanMing- thanks, definitely more to come
    Holland- thank you good sir

so I decided to start participating in CHOW to try and eek out a couple portfolio pieces in case i go to Megacon next year. The first one is about futuristic jousters who are sponsored by big companies. I made a Target sponsored guy because I figured they would have to be the biggest and toughest in order to wear that logo

If you like it enough it would be awesome if you could give it a vote once the polls go up

about that 2 day pose.. great, i don't care how the model looks like, painting is still impressive, even if you didn't get her likeness. hope to see it finished Are you painting on canvas?

    Carrion- no problem mate
Monkeydominator- thanks but I was hoping for 76 flavors so I guess I missed the mark... lol jk
OmertA- thanks man I'll keep 'em coming and hopefully continuing with the improvement
    serio- thanks I love lines
    DANKA- thank you
bandaidboy12- thanks man, variety is the spice of life, or some shit like that lol
    jedininjaman- thanks!
jeremyg0rd0n- Thanks a lot man, I;ve been drawing ever since I was 3 and saw The Nightmare Before Christmas in theaters
lolbbq- thanks man I intend to
Monika Gruszka- thanks, I don't think I'll go back into, 2 days is all we get. I'm actually painting on MDF panel which is a nice thick smooth board you can get at home depot. It's like $20 for a 4'x8' sheet so it makes 10 pieces of 18"x24" for about $2 per piece, not a bad deal

here's a portrait from figure class this morning. I was in a bad mood because of the insane lack of parking being exacerbated by the closing of several lots for some "special event" so I was like "fuck color! I'm making her purple"

the semester ends next week and I've got so much work it's ridiculous. Biggest concern is a 12 page comic that I just started last night. It's an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft's "The Terrible Old Man". I decided to paint each panel on separate pieces of paper...and there's 50 panels...and I started last night...FML. Stay tuned...

Really enjoying your sketchbook dude - so much great work in here.

Even though you said your latest Cu Chulain Chow is unfinished, I reaaally like it - there's something graphic design'y about it and the simple block colours work amazingly well.

    Great stuff, keep it up!

    Ramza- thanks man
    AmbientChroma- thanks a lot dude

So it's been about 1/4 of a year since I last updated. Here's something I just did today for my digital ill class. We had to do a character design and lay out the sketches and painting on one page. I'm doing Joseph Curwen from H.P. Lovecraft's "The Case of Charles Dexter Ward". He's Basically a 1700s colonial necromancer who is over 100 years old but still appears to be in his 40s. And of course he's got his copy of the Necronomicon tucked in his arm.
