I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.
I have a personal livejournal that I use to reassure my friends that I'm still alive (I hate phones....). I tried using an lj blog in connection with my site, but I never updated because I was already doing something similar on my website's main page (but this couldn't as easily be linked to). Now I'm thinking about dropping in some rss feed code and just using my site (though I had considered using blogspot/blogger since that seems to be the choice for artists).
I use Blogspot. I was looking for a quick and easy (free) way to have a web presence and to have a online portfolio of sorts until I thought my work was worthy of its own site proper. I had seen it used by other artists, so I joined the blogspot ranks. Myspace and Facebook have blogging options, I understand, but I see them as a cancer taking over its host internet body
