there are some good pieces in your works man! especially your pencils (nice life models), for the digits maybe it is a little flat, anyway, good start.. keep it up!

I've been bussy on this project for a cartoon character, this is some of the stuff i've drawen for it so far. I must say that a lot of the "quality" of the drawing has gone lost in the scanning proces, it looks better on paper :p.

    Hey FullMetal

Thought I'd stop by. Thanks for the encouragement.

I really like the feet and converse sketches in the last post. Hope the AfroSamurai 'ish guy comes out the way you want.

Tip: was thinking he could use some more lines in the face studies/development sketches , in other words, more wrinkles under the cheeks, you know, the ones that start from the nose to the sides of the mouth? just to show off the different expressions he is having.

I like the motion studies with him and his sword, good stuff.

Hi, thx for the comment CTomlin. I've worked over the face drawings a bit more, and added some more shades/volumes. Il scan this when i have the time and post it.

Anyway. These are some colour studies, the first two are just sketches with colored pencil and markers. The 3d one is a clean version painted digitally. And the fourth one is the same one as nr3 but ive added my original drawing to it again. I personnally prefer nr4.

Hey. NICE figures! YOur digitals all seem to be yellowish and cold. You could colorpick from photos to get an idea of how warm and saturated skintones are.
    Keep it up.

Hi all thx for the comments,

@carlosranna: yeah that's true but the fact is that this is for a modelsheet and its supposed to give as mutch info about the character as possible so thats why i've drawen him like that :p

Anyway, here is the almost finished sheet, colours are indeed cold but in the next drawing il make i will keep that in mind

    Hi thx for the comment.

As for my goals ? I am now studying webdesign, and i think i will try to combine my drawing-stuff with designing websites :p (donno if that makes any sense XD).

Those are some of the last life-drawing classes, my fav. one is where she's lying down with the red hair.

Oh and another robot idea i think i'm gonna work out.

Nice effort on the portraits. Keep drawing from reference, doing those studies is like weight lifting for artists. It builds you up. Draw from life and maybe get some books from the guys who show drawing figur ewith process. Keep doing your thing, and good effort so far. Good Luck.
