The portrait study went wrong here and there, not very satisfied,I should have taken more time to think it over.
The other one is some random templar girly wip.

The last enviro study really shines above the rest. It's very defined and clear. Nice work on it!
And i'm sure a lot of people have said so before me, but keep doing anatomy studies, bridgeman or loomis. It really helps. Painting from imagination is really important, but those ref studies need to go hand in hand!

I'm liking what I see, keep it up!

When you do studies, do you bother to learn from them? I'm sorry but you haven't learnt much from them and just go back to your old ways like they were just a sop to doing what you think other people think you should. Draw more and give it a hell of a lot more thought before committing pen to tablet. Actually throw the tablet out the window and draw more in pencil - from real life. You need to learn how to express form before you go mental on the imaginative drawings.

And don't think I haven't been there. I have and it's hard to own up to yourself.

and it makes sense now i didn't understand at all what i was doing, even though i learnt about light and colors with the studies, i'm starting to undertand how to learn to draw real life here i come.

    Thanks Black spot.
two other selfportraits, i need to fix the chin i draw them too large in my opinion, one attempt to portrait the baby too. I screwed up the baby gesture.
I drew a random dude's face on photoshop to apply what i learned about face construction it felt more comfortable but i need to study the neck.
Some more selfportraits in progress, i will make one in a larger size and spend more time into it, i got to bring up the value to another level in the selfportraits too.

Last selfportraits, and lastly a quick doodle in greyscale then with simple tones to work on values on an ogre's face.

Another selfportrait, baby stuff and an update of the girly from before, tried to push the values, work out nose and eyes in details, dunno if it's any better though, I think the eyes are off gotta rework it. And some crest doodle.

Two more selfportraits, I tried a different approach on these, the good thing is I learn new stuff about drawing a face each time i draw a new selfportrait, I guess it means those are worthy.
