    Head Drawings, Oil Sketches, and Quick Poses

    Here's some Head Drawings from workshops around Los Angeles and San Francisco. I'll be posting some oil sketches soon.

    Thanks, here's a few head drawings on toned paper. They're 3 hour head studies.

    wow! those oil paintings are fantastic. Love the white dress girl. So are you part of the Jeff Watts school? Your drawings in particular has that look.

    And if I'm not mistaken, I see Orbik's influence written all over these. You wouldn't happen to have studied at the California Art Institute... ?

    You guessed it!

    Sfa - Yep - I studied with Glenn Orbik for close to a year. The information he passed along was priceless. Before working with Glenn i spend years at the Academy in SF (trying) to learn how to draw, but not getting solid - consistent information - though the Academy has some amazing teachers, they don't have a class like Glenn's that teaches abstractions and how to design shapes.


    Doonboy - Thank you, no I studied at the Academy in SF and with Glenn Orbik at CAI. I continue to go to workshops weekly.

    Farsh , Oruhito, Serpian, Tenna _mom, Mentler, Nightblue, Frank, Saa , Smith - Thank you for the kind words. I'll try to post more soon.
