Thanks for the info Alti. I'll be sure to have something going soon.. one more question, we allowed to use characters we've designed earlier? cause I started on a character for the DominanceWar III but kinda never got into it cause I was really new to CG art.

DefiledVisions > you can use a character you've made as long as you think it works with the themes.

    Allright, thanks.

Here's the character design, allthough its half a year old.. picked up a few things since then gonna start working on the real deal soon.

Thats a powerful image ChaoticKnight, would be cool if those pieces of cloth from his back were pushed up into the air, like from an energyblast instead of hanging down like they do now.

Great, for the past few weeks I've been making a leviathan image, I could have been making it for this

Oh well, I'll just make a new one.

Woot! It's back! I was beginning to wonder if we were going to revive this or not. Now, to find a character or come up with one...

If one were to search Andromeda, you may find some interesting images, most of them are pretty good, some chick getting ummm. . . . by a leviathen, and some dude with wings comes along and rescues her, so yeah, for the sake of inspiration. And I'm digging the concepts so far, woot !

    *bangs head against the wall*
    I dont get it!
So first we have to draw a character right?
Does this character have a theme or can we make it however we like
Then after drawing the character we have to draw a scene of the character fighting something a sea monster right?
I always fail to understand the themes of the art crusades....
    cheers

Lilnebo: Basically, it's all about making an illustration with one or more characters fighting against a Leviathan beasty. When the Art Crusade started out, most people prefered to design a character for themselves that they could use in more than one round, but this isn't a requirement as far as I know. It's part of the Role Playing experience of this activity

Oh and although a Leviathan is indeed a huge creature that lives in the ocean, I think in this case it can be interpreted as just an enormous beast?
