The children want to know why the big nasty man has taken all the presents away, I told the to close their eyes and finish eating their card board.

It's going to be a tough Christmas ...

Hello mate ... It's not too bad ... I've had a lot of interest and 3 interviews, with another one booked for Friday. I've no time at the no to dabble in the world of drawing and painting as I'm busy trying to get some more animation done.

I'm considering going freelance, there seems to be some demand for it and I quite fancy working from home, as long as I can sound proof my room so I can't hear the screams of the children

Hope all is well with you. You're latest post are totally wicked, beautiful work mate. Thanks for dropping by, it's great to hear from you.

After being out of the loop for a few months I am finally settled into a new job ... new but old ...
Anyhoo, due to some licensing restrictions I'm unable to use Artrage any more, which has forced me into using Photoshop, in the long term may be for the best, I think I may have been using the lack of control in Artrage to trick myself into thinking that was why I'm not a great painter! So, time to face the truth, and with the kind gift of brushes from Cakeypigdog I've started using Photoshop. This is a WIP and no doubt will take me forever to complete.

Although great to be back in work I miss the inspirational day to day work of some great artists I was lucky enough to share office space with, Cakeypigdog, Mya, OISHIINIKU, ASHAB and Harry_Palmer, all great artists and great inspiration, thanks guys it was a pleasure, I wish you luck in your new ventures.

Great to see you posting again Bingo!

Loving the creases on the shirt, the whole thing seems a bit more.... solid? How are you finding the change to photoshop so far?

Thanks frettchen, it's much appreciated ...
Been away for a couple of days and not touched the painting, I was begining to think as an image it was a bit dull so I thought I'd try and spice it up a little.
Not sure about the claw hand though ...!

Awesome to see it finished Bingo, the shading on the tentacles is very cool, although I'm not entirely sure what he's holding in his left hand

Hi Tony you wonderful wonderful man. I miss you and your wife's lovely cookies! The guy with the tentacles is great mate. The tentacles on the right hand side with the stylish black outline look awesome. I think that once you are used to it photoshop will be a good friend.
Miss you and the old gang mate, I do not think we all appreciated what we had in our group til it was gone
Hope everything is good at work for you.
    Much love and kisses, Jake

Jake your kind words bring a tear to my eye ...

I imagine it's the cookies you miss really.

It was a good group and I do miss it, Aiden is being awesome though and we're trying to keep the speed paint thing going here ...
Hope you're enjoying the new job, you're sorely missed here, but only after it was discovered that what everyone thought was you, was in actual fact a cardboard cutout, after a draught blew it over.

    Anyhoo

I love the black outline on it, makes it a lot more comic book like than your earlier pieces!
