I know it. A lot of these had to be detailed so there was no question in clients minds about the surfaces or materials, but youre dead right its easy to overwork something and make it a bit dead.

Darren your landscapes are reeally nice man.

I think that your designs are very cool. I especially like those watches.

A lot of moodiness comes across in the watch rendering, but at the same time they still are very informational regarding material changes.

I am in school for Industrial Design so I really appreciate all of this work you have done and I hope someday I get to your level.

Hey thanks James! Your work is bananas man.

Heres one of a load of plane interiors for fun, to maybe drum up some work. The silly doors were a last minute thing so kinda out of theme with the rest of it, but Id keep them if it were my jet.

Usually, i'm not a fan of concept car design but some of yours blow my mind. I love the bus, looks like a mix between a Beluga and and old locomotive. Love the train too.

These really all show a remarkable sense of craft and a real comfort with a wide variety of subjects and media. It's very professional with a level of solidity to it not often seen. My only criticism was with some minor elements of your first aircraft design, Pinkjet4sm.jpg, but what I first took for an implausible placement of the side windows turned out to be me misinterpreting your use of angled windows. Very interesting- thank you for sharing.

The perspective is weird with some of the aircraft interiors. It makes the nearest table look like it's sloping steeply. I would expect the glasses and silverware to slide into the airplane window. I'd love to see these redone with the perspective tweaked so the nearest table looks normal. Perhaps the problem is following a perspective grid too exactly without taking account what actually looks right to the eye.

Great stuff man! I love concept art but always wished I had taken a few Industrial design classes while in school. Especially after starting to work on vehicles this last year. Cars and automotive design are a true art form. Out of curiosity what do you use to render your 3d stuff? Can't wait to see your future vehicles.

I use a lot of 3DSmax and Photoshop and some illustrator. Good luck with your work!

Inspiring post/thread very different for CA. While I love speedpaints it's great to see concept art is not limited to games and movies. Hopefully CA can attract more industrial designers/concept artists to post here.
    Many thanks.

Pffffhhhhh. Design pornography - man, that's almost obscene... Tadao Ando meets Luigi Colani and they have a dirty bang with Zaha Hadid...
    I LOVE IT, hehe..
How much of this is your design and how much is visualisation of external designs?

However - your certainly an aesthete with a hell of a skillset! Keep bringing the sticky stuff!

You need to work on your aviation stuff, they are too sterile, and I don't believe that such a small engine could pick up all that bulk.

Great body of work there, the detail in the watched is crazy, but interestingly, what struck me the most was the Pollock interior, where you thread the yellow, black and white through out the piece.
I also see the yellow chair giving a nod to this

    Hamsta, thank you very much!

What sort of things might you do to liven them up? Ill incorporate them into the next set.
