Thread: Traveling Sketchbook!

Have been reading through the ca archives for a few weeks now, seen looooads of impressive stuff and thought that itd be helpful to start up a sketchbook and join the fray! Im travelling at the moment, so most of the newer pics will be taken with a camera, but ive got a few scanned images from a few months back i figured id start with... got a bunch of life drawings i need to resize and hten ill upload those too...

Hey, heres some life drawings, more to come... first two are 5 minute poses, last is 15.

Last few life drawings, more studies and whatnot from the sketchbook later! First one is a 20 minute drawing working on anatomy with 2 models, which was a little tricky, second is using three colours for a little shading work!!

Your bigger sketches are the best. That red shading test looks far too smudgy. It doesn't have depth, I didn't even notice the arm at first.
The hut is a ballpen sketch? I like the feeling of those. Details are tough to do though. The perspective is off on the fence... euh... like this:

thanks for the comments guys! im definatly gonna work on the hut a little more and yeah its ballpoint, and the fence i agree is off.... that box in the top right is a chunk of the sketch on the next page i think, or just a doodle of some kind? will post some more drawingsz..

the hut sketch is my fav too I'd like to see it in colors, it'd make a lovely pic
