This is a very cool creature. The design is excellent, and the detail is very nice. The color fits this guy perfectly as well. The head design is sweet, but Im not a big fan of the oozing orifice at his backside.

    Thanks Duman!
Yeh the orifice you speak of has a practical side, as he is the Imbiber, he ingests his prey, and lays them as "imbibed eggs" which the rest of his colony feed on.
But it does make me feel ill ha ha

Looks like a Zerg something... Very detailed. Is that Photoshop or Painter?

Wow, that would be a horrible no good very bad way to go. Getting eaten, pooed, then eaten again. Then prabably another poo. Ouch. Like alien, meets zerg, meets tyranids. Are there other aliens like this guy?

some more concept art for the 1st model in my lil series, this one is the "Collector", part of the same species as the guy above, except this one is a worker, he collects humans to be brought back and processed by the Imbiber!

    enjoy!

I love the faces and bone like armor thses guys have. The skin detail is fantastic. I am not, however, a fan of this guys legs. They don't look like they could support him very well...

yeh the legs were a lil concern, however, the way I see him moving is very hunched and walking with an un-consistant gait, like a low skulk.

Still, his legs are a bit off
