    Haha, awesome.

Like I said in yesterday's thread, I've been needing some fantasy artwork to round out my portfolio. And Rocs are my favorite type of fantasy creature.

I'm all over this like a spoiler on a ricer's Honda Civic.

My first digital artwork, made with photoshop 7 and painter 8. Damnit, i never seem to get the effects that i want. i've always sucked at colouring. i'll have to take some tutorials.:grumble: oh yeah, the guy in the nest (yes it's a nest) is Sinbad.

    Henry the Stellar's Jay

Okay, so I didn't draw this today, but considering the topic I can't resist posting the link...

    http://images.deviantart.com/i/2003/...ellars_Jay.jpg

It's big, and better viewed big... he's an anthropomorphic stellar's jay genetic creation. With glasses and an inhaler! Hooray...

    -Sapph

(I'll probably do a real one later)

    Cool images everyone.

plaf - like the line work and massive scale.

DV8 - you have a keen eye for strong compositions. this one included. I just wish they were a little bigger.

    thanks Danielh68

compostion comes with experimentation...and following some simple rules . I paint them much larger, just post them smaller to save bandwidth and load times.

    thanks!

Vyle - beautiful. even without the giant bird, it still stands. In fact, if birdless, it is very reminiscent of Turner's work.

    wow

vyle: good stuff, like it a lot!!

devilbunny: love the lines and the shades on it. a bit untraditional as well with the 'vulture-like' nature of it. cool! =)

graah, maybe by tomorrow I will be on time, lol. Only have time for a quick sketch today..

Hunger artist- nooo, not the cow T_T

Sapphire- unfortunately, images.deviantart doesn't seem to like me T_T

DV8- Ah, but looks like you are making good progress anyway. I've also been trying to get quicker also, it is very frustrating T_T

Oh, I'm sorry... know it's the next day, but I just thought I'd post the small version since the link doesn't work. It's not really a Roc though... just an anthro bird. <

Renone> Just thought I'd let you know that it looks like Hideo Minaba ripped your work, travelled back in time, and used it in the designs for FFIX... Maybe you should talk to him.

I would have just ignored this, but you seem to be making a habit of it.
