Sweet...I dig it! Both hands are a little stiff tho. Hands are so important/expressive. I recommend doing another pass on them.

Very nice color, design and draftsmanship.

Oh yes, that a good piece of art.
Just the right "hand" of the cat is bugging.

I love the cat! I agree with Spherco's comments on the hands though, specially the one holding the cigarette, it's too rigid, and usually you hold a cig between the index and middle fingers.

Wonderful picture! Your hatching is lovely, and goes very well with your detailed coloring. I'm a fan.

I like the graphical design elements very much! Great painting, but I agree on the problems with the hands and paw.

Groovy image - it has that strange feeling that european comics have which I can't really define. my only gripe is the top of the cup, I feel like it should be tilted toward the viewer a bit.

I just love your style. Very refreshing.
The shoulder pads are my favorite parts of the piece.
The subtle texture is very well applied too. Nice job.

Hey Sean! Another great image! One crit though, his left arm (petting the cat) seems to have a very short forearm. Other than that it's beautiful.

The use of screentones for texture is blowing my mind. I love it on the armor, though its a bit awkward on the cup. Awesome piece!

I love it. Reminds me a little bit of Roman Dirge. In feel, not style, o' course.

The work in your blog is all really impressive. I'm going to keep tabs on you ;p

That is a really cool piece, man. The details are really slick and the colors are great. I love the little kitty comb-over.

Gaaah! Sorry it has taken me this long to respond... I was moving into my new house over the past 3 days and haven't gotten near the internets.

DeKal - Thanks! I like the cat too.... he was kinda inspired by one of my own cats.

BANDD - Thanks! That's the best compliment.

Spherco - I can see what you mean about the hands, for sure. I like the one holding the cig, but the one petting the cat could maybe use some tweakage.

lewiston - You are welcome, and thank YOU!

Chuck, Mate - Thanks man, I appreciate it. I don't think of myself as having patience, but I think when it comes to personal pieces, I can just let them brew over time.

spookybabydoll - I see what you mean with the cats paw. That's an easy fix... thanks man!

entdroid - Normally, yes, but I have seen people hold them that way too, and it has a weird deliberateness to it that I like. I'm glad you like it though, thanks! Your sit eis awesome too, lots of really great work!

psychoboy - He does have a bit of a hitler-easque look to his hair, I admit. Though it was unintentional. Perhaps this cat has evil designs for the world. Thanks man!

Kari- Hey man, how's Brooklyn? I live in Baltimore now, in fact we just bought a house in Downtown. Baltimore is kinda like Brooklyn, except with more bullets. I love it though, actually. Hope all is well with you!

andyhunt - Thanks man! It's a strange way of working, but I have always loved obsessive-looking line work. I am glad to know you like it!

    Pavel - Thanks thanks!

    Serpian - Thanks muchly!

Jason Juta - Hey, cool, I love european comics! Maybe it's the color? Thanks man, yeah the cup could use a bit o perspective, perhaps.

dem0n - Thanks man, yeah I like hte shoulder pads too!

jfwalls - indeed, it looks odd if you stare at it, I think I was trying to have it be foreshortened, but given the flat nature of the piece, it may not read well. Glad you like it though!

mr. m - Thanks, I will try to! Smoking is definitely bad for you, so keep fighting the good fight, you don't want to end up loking like this guy!

Audiodoc - Thanks. Yes I will, just not at this moment (I am at work), I will try to soon.

    wiltekirra - Thanks man!

    ROBOT TANK - Thank you

waranghira - thanks! I love hatching, it is like zen to me.

sourgasm - Thanks, keeping tabs is fine, but please do not stalk me, that's just creepy.

Dusty - Thankee, I think i might try to give one of my cats a combover. It could be the new hip thing.

    anjin - thanks a lot!

    Omur - And thank YOU!

Thanks again everyone! I will try to post the sketch soon.
