Yet another reason I love Stop Motion

Apparently it is based on a Mark twain story. I dunno much about it other than that.

That was amazing. Stop motion is one the most beautiful form of animation.
Come to think of it, that was the original reason why I wanted to get into animation.

Jesus, that was awesome. Trippy, dark and deep. Was that really for kids?

oh wow, this is weird. I saw this as a kid and was just talking about it earlier today. I don't remember some of this that I'd think would have stayed with me, so maybe this was cut from the version I saw, but definitely the same movie. As I recall, it had something to do with Mark Twain grabbing these kids (Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer?) and talking them on a sort of religious/psychedelic journey in his air ship. Now I need to find the whole thing, I remember it being really strange.

Aw, nothing like a bit of Will Vinton claymation! "The Adventures of Mark Twain" is what this is from, right?

    LOVE this.

The Adventures of Mark Twain, if I remember correct. I loved this episode when I was a kid. Thanks for the reminder thread.
