Sometimes my browsers take up about 1gb of ram. It's about time somebody addressed this issue. I just downloaded and like it so far. I wonder how popular Chrome will become.

Here's a comic describing new features of the browser in case some of you haven't seen it.

Using now too, really liking the experience so far, my pages seem to be loading faster than ever.
Hopefully this will become quite a popular browser, seems like a lot of thought has gone into the production.

To be perfectly honest, I don't like the cartoony style. I like how FireFox is so sleek and metal-like.

    Where is the cartoony style?

The only thing that firefox has on it is adblocking capabilities

Hmm... securitywise, it's very easy to just klick in the preferences and get access to all passwords. That needs to be fixed in IMO.

Well, I've been using it for roughly 15 seconds. At first blush, I think I like it.

    (edit) ... it's disturbingly fast O.o ....

I just noticed this too, slightly concerning since my brother uses my PC as well as myself.

Super fast. Firefox 3 always seemed to take a (relatively) long time to load all the little thumbnails at the top of concept art.

I love the layout of the tabs, not a big fan of the bookmarks toolbar. I'm not terribly concerned about the saved passwords since I'm the only user of this computer. Also I only save passwords to unimportant stuff like message boards and email. (my e-mail account isn't terribly interesting)

I like being able to resize text boxes, too.

Incognito mode is also nice for banking, shopping and umm... porn.

edit- I miss my little search bar at the top right. I realize you still have Google searches built into the nav bar, but I sorely miss being able to go straight to specific Wikipedia articles.

faaaast. I love how it is multi-threading processes

when you're loading CA, everything turns up at once instead of from top to bottom.. and it doesn't take long to load it either. way cool!

This is fast, but on my laptop on vista I can't scroll up(with my touch strips on my mouse pad) only down for me. Hopefully this will be remedied. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks for taking some time out of you day to post this grumbledook.

: I don't like that there is no cache options.

: Laptop, it scrolls way to fast.

Oh, and it's slow as fuck on Dial up. Firefox = Win right now. Probably because I have gigs of cache so I don't have to download any thing, hah.

I don't like the blue bar at the very top, it's wasted space imo.
I also would like the book mark button to be on the same bar as the forward, back, home etc. If you could drag that stuff around and customize it, that'd be great. I can't even drag my imported book marks over to the right side.

I'm sure in the future though there will be more options, and skins. It's a lot faster than FF which is amazing.

EDIT: forgot to add that I also miss the ctrl+k feature of FF with the little search bar on the upper right. I use that a lot.

ok, I just discovered something that I WISHED for FF to be able to do, because to me it made sense that it SHOULD do this... in Chrome you can drag a tab out to it's own window, then drag it back >_< That's awesome.

This browser makes me go wide-eyed and it looks like I'm in F11 mode.
It's pretty cool, I'm using it right now.

    ...but I still love Firefox.

you can click the star next to the address bar to "bookmark" or "favourite" something

also the address bar is all singing and all dancing, and works as the search box as well, the keyboard shortcut to it is alt+d

Have to stick to FF until Chrome supports Ad Block Plus or creates it's own.
