Very nice stuff! I love how "precise" your line-work is. It has a definite sense of authority and confidence.

The only real thing I've noticed is just that some of the figures tend to be a little stiff. Quick and loose gesture drawing would probably help. Keep it under 30 seconds so you don't try to over think it.

Anyhow, keep up the good work!

And the fight goes on! Feeling a little frustrated atm, feel like I've wasted so much time, but i'll try to get over it.

FightingSeraph: Thank you so much! Glad you still like it (:

    cricketts801:
    Thanks (:!

syrella: I'm glad you like my lines! You're totally right about the stiff part. That's also a thing which really bothers me ): Also the reason I started drawing gestures on a regular base, I hope it will help. Usually I do 60secs, today I tried out 30secs, too. Thank you, I will!!

Okay so here's some stuff....first of gestures. I also did some 5min stuff, but for me it's still not enough to get something decent down. I feel so out of it somehow. Tried 30sec gestures today with the result that sometimes I wasn't able to finish the pose, and also my proportions got worse again. I guess I just have get through it.

Some quick studies of things on my desk

Stuff from sketchbook, the old man is my grandpa, quickly sketched his face down while he was watching TV

Tried out the perspective/boxes thing from ctrlpaint.com after I've seen it here in a sketchbook. It's really a wicked exercise, I felt really lost when I tried adding a second box. And also, next time I have to pay attention to the relations more. Box looks different in size in every attempt, I have to concentrate more.

    Digital sketch from imagination ):

Today I tried out digital study from life for the first time. It's a little magnet.
Couldn't finished because I had to work on other stuff then. The colors are wrong, but not as bad as I expected them to be...even when I wrecked my brain about color theory when looking at it I had no clue which colors to pick ):

That's it for today. C&C always welcome (:

Haha I saw Japanese in your note below your username then I suddenly found myself in here >_<

Keep on fighting, and slowly work towards that goal of 1000 gestures! Think your figure work is improving! Love how your tossing in lots of little life drawing and paintings too.
