Paintings for Self Improvment: Added 9/14/08

    Undead Warrior with magic weapon.

As a kid, I always liked the fantasy/magic worlds or imagination.

Please feel free to help me out by critiquing, or telling me it sucks. To push me to become amazing

Hey man, I dig this! I like the pose and the rendering on the helmet!

The anatomy is confusing in places, especially considering the figure is emaciated to the point of appearing flayed.
The anatomy of the chest could be more specified. Some collar bones might be nice and a clearer indication of what is the bottom of the pec muscle, what is the bottom of the ribcage and what is just muscle fiber.
The left arm, I'm not sure where the shoulder is supposed to be. It looks like you're showing some of the deltoid muscle peeking from under the armor but I feel the whole arm would be placed to low on the ribcage if that were the case.
Also, his toes don't look finished.

Some great stuff in places though. I'm sure if you polished up the anatomy a little bit this piece would be even better! Rock on!

    ...my humble and uneducated opinion.

Man, thanks a lot. I didnt see some of the errors you were mentioning, the delt/arm area needs rethinking. Will do.

Pretty neat pics. Although in the first piece, I noticed that the characters left arm is a lot shorter than his right arm. Good work overall
