Wacom Intuos3 + Painter
I've been using Painter X.1 with my Wacom Intuos3 tablet a lot and during all this time I've been struggling with an annoying bug that comes and goes...
As you might know if you have a Intuos3 tablet, the pen has a tilt function and with this tilt function some tools within Painter reacts with this function. But this function sometimes just disappears. Whenever I am working it sometimes just falls flat for a moment and the tilt function just disappears and the pen gets as flat as a mouse. Sometimes the tilt function has disappeared completely when I start Painter. To fix this I have to reset the drivers for the tablet.
Wacom themselves say that this is a common thing and it is a drivers issue. But I wonder how many out there has encountered it?

I encounter it alot with photoshop. i think it's a wacom thing. you just have to restart the program till it works, there isn't really any avoiding it, sorry. until wacom fixes it of course.

i experienced this bug on and off. it has been loosely linked with the use of a second tablet on the same pc (just pluging in a different tablet once can cause it apparently), although i have doubts about this. however most ppl ive spoke to about this have plugged in a friends tablet at one point or another including myself.

Thanks for your reply, it was really helpful. Wacom themselves says that this is a drivers issue. But since I hadn't got it confirmed by in my opinion a more reliable source I didn't really believe them. They are really terrible at answering questions and they are upright rude at times (at least here in europe). So I've been struggling with this thing for a while. I was worried that it was my tablet that was malfunctioning. But as it appears I wasn't that unlucky this time around, and for that I am greatful! =)
Once again thanks for your reply! I think you should forward your issues to Wacom though, so that they might get a little fire up their asses and do something about this issue.
