    mountain landscape

    hopefully this might come out a bit smaller than the last picture i put on here, if it doesnt I'm sorry. Maybe someone could let me know how to make the picture smaller if it comes out huge. the main point of me doing this picture was to practice painting mountains as i've tried them in a couple of things recently and i've found myself completely stumped how to do them well.

    You can use shadows to give the mountains more three dimensionality. Here is a photo reference I took which illustrates the effect I am talking about. It looks like you have some idea of this, but could probably stand to punch the dark values harder.

    Your mountains look great! I agree with arttorney though, you should darken some of the shadows a bit more. Other than that, it is looking great.
