awesome work, weird that they made his arms and head movable and not his legs.

He comes with an alternate set of standing legs. The floating pose has been used a good deal in publicity for the film, so they wanted to go with it.

Wow I love your pieces. They are very amazing. I especially like the very suttle texture on his skin. Please keep posting.

jesus, i hope that black thong wont appear in the movie, its pretty lame with it.

great sculpture, amazing anatomy, and i am sure you are not responsible for the idea of the black thong so i cant blame you.

    Damn!

That is cool! Even down to the slightly parted lips.

    Love it!

The thing that made me go ahhh YES!, was the assymetry in the muscles, like chest area and stomach. Looks very real. Difference in fingers is well thought thru..

    Lovely figure!

You must've forgotten that he does actually wear the "black thong" in the Watchmen comic. Here's a panel: http://movies.ign.com/dor/objects/34...page=mediaFull
(Notice how it makes an "M" shape? )
    HOWEVER,
The scene where he does that pose that the figure is based on, you are right, he actually does not have the thong. He does that right when he comes back into existence, am I right? So being naked would make a lot more sense.

I don't mind the thong as much, since it is based off the official art, but the only thing I don't like about it is his genetalia is downplayed quite a bit. You don't have to give the man a huge package or anything, just a bit of a bulge would suffice. The way that sculpt is now makes it look as if he was tucking it in between his legs. Then again, I'm sure it's much too late to be complaining about this now anyway.

It's really too bad about this country... anything that has to do with genitals and people instantly call it "pornography."

Yea i am reading the watchmen comic book right now, and the scene where he re appears after being disinigrated he does not have the black thong, so this isn't really accurate. I am not even halfway through the book, but I still that the essense of Dr.Manhattan is that he doesn't like wearing clothes all too much

Hey he also doesn't have the sign on his forehead when he appears, but it's still relevant to the character. It looks great btw, very detailed. Nice work man.
