I think it's time for me to upload something. I haven't uploaded in a long time because I haven't touched the computer in a long time and I'm pretty lazy when it comes to scanning. Here are 3 quickly painted portraits and a colored sketch.

    GM: Don't think I agree. : P

Here are some sketches. I'm using/enjoying a new technique. I'm desperately trying to avoid the vector-adobe-illustrator look, even though these are of course done in Photoshop.

Thx for stopping by my sketchbook. Your characters are great. And your concepts are fun and full of life. The only thing I want to see here is what I would like to see from myself as well, some finished work. Keep posting, and thx again for the crit.

Most of these are from photo references. I'm trying to get a better hang of colors and value.

Conceptart.org, get your heads out of your asses and fix this bugged as hell site. First I can't log in and now I cant upload anything properly.

    Edit: That's better.

Good stuff mate! I haven't checked out your SB in a while - and I definitely think you are showing improvement on all fronts. Some of your studies are really good, and I really like those coloured life studies, on black.
Very motivational - makes me want to draw more.

DK_sketch:Hehe thanks, man. Ye Ye I'm trying. But I am currently (since a couple of days ago ) trying to build up a little portfolio so I'm not focusing on the speed paint studies and instead taking more time. But I guess nothing is stopping me from posting a WIP. : )

Here is a landscape study, very much in progress (referenced naturally). And a super quick sketch which obviously isn't done either. Also I made a sprite (videogame style) of a space plane.

Hmm, maybe I should just make an array of environment studies instead of taking so much time on each one - very demoralizing if it just isn't working out.

Another environment study and further progress with the WIP sketch in the previous sketch.

Here are some quick studies of IRL object. Wow. I probably need more practice with that. I was inspired to make these after looking through DK_sketch's very good sketchbook thread.
